Cautions in Packaging

  • 1. Use appropriate sized and strong packing materials by the commodities.
  • 2. Put inner packing materials in the outer box fully or Wrap each commodity with inner packing materials in order to protect the goods from outer impact or to avoid bumping
          against other goods in the box.
  • 3. Fragile goods should be packed with strong packing materials with full inner packing materials. OCS can provide Wooden Crate Packing Service if customers request it.
  • 4. Attach necessary caution labels on the outer boxes.
  • 5. Liquid should be put in a strong bottle or container and packed with strong outer packing materials with full inner packing materials in order to avoid any leakage.
  • 6. Do not use an used packing material in the outer packing. If it is absolutely compelled, get rid of any labels or marks. Never use any used DG packing materials.
  • 7. For small textile or apperal goods, OCS can use OCS PP Envelopes if no special instruction. If you want it to be packed with stronger one such as caton box, please request it on the
          pick-up stage.
  • 8. DG(Dangerous Good) must be packed by DGR(Dangerous Goods Regulations) and its MSDS, Original Shipper's DG Declaration sheet, any other necessary documentations should be
          provided by the shipper.
  • 9. Lithium Batteries or any products contained lithium batteries should be informed before or on the pick-up stage to OCS. And it requires an appropriate packing and labelling by DGR.
  • 10. If special caution or handling is required during the transportation, the detailed notice should be given to OCS previously. OCS can provide DG, Wooden Crate or Pallet packing services.
            If any other special packing is required, it should be done by the shipper himself.
  • 11. The packed goods can be opened for inspection by the customs officers or OCS operation staffs without pre-notice for safe handling and accurate declaration.
